Billed by the hour for projects where scope isn't totally clear or when you need flexible drafting support. Good for ALTA surveys with lots of easements or when you're not sure what you'll find in the research.
Price based on total acreage. Makes sense for subdivision plats and larger tracts where the work scales with property size.

I Get this question ALOT, and usually one of the first questions I get. This is hard to answer without context, it would be like a customer calling you and just asking "How much would you charge for a survey?" without knowing do they want one line located and staked for a fence or is a developer wanting a full blown TOPO for a new shopping center? Then you don't know do they need it tomorrow or in a month? The same applies for us at S&S Design Lab. I will need to know things like how many a week you plan on sending me (or is this a one and done), Type(s) of work you do and other details we will discuss when you book your FREE phone call with me.

If you don’t, I’ll match your past plats so the deliverables look like they came from your office, not an outsourced drafter. I also work within your state’s surveying requirements and follow your surveyor-of-record’s direction.
